Our First Day
It's just before 10pm and the children are tucked up in their tents, with 'lights out' gradually being enforced around our tent village.
The children have been fabulous all day. We had a smooth journey (traffic and sick free) journey. We arrived just before 12, in glorious sunshine, and were more than ready for our lunch. At 2pm we began group activities (photos to follow) before meeting together to be taken to our two tent villages. The children were so excited - arranging beds and, most importantly, setting up their snack displays
At 6pm we headed off for dinner - a choice of fish fingers,
chicken with tomato and pepper sauce or vegetable chow-mein,
potato wedges, penne pasta and iced sponge cake or ice cream
- needless to say the children did not go hungry!
Off to an evening activity - Cluedo - before returning, with great excitement,
to brush their teeth and go to bed.
Be assured that everyone is happy, fed and ready for a good night's sleep!
The 4G and wifi is only working in one building so far,
but we will do our best to get photos posted as soon as possible.
